The Evil of the Daleks had significant filming at Grim’s Dyke although some are episodes lost by the BBC. A significant amount survives as stills including Victoria being summoned by the Daleks to the Minstrel Gallery, overlooking the Music Room. The Music Room was also used for filming in ‘Little Britain’ where Tom Baker acted as the Narrator. The sometimes forgotten Peter Cushing played the Doctor in two 1960’s films Dr Who and the Daleks – (1965) and Daleks – Invasion Earth: 2150 A.D. – (1966). Shortly after those performances Peter Cushing played the lead in film Blood Beast Terror - (1968) filmed mostly at Grim’s Dyke. A short taxi ride from Stanmore underground station or from Harrow & Wealdstone gets you to Grim’s Dyke set in its 40 acres.
